Trump challenges Woodward for sitting on coronavirus quotes

President Trump on Thursday challenged Bob Woodward, questioning why the veteran journalist didn't report his comments about the novel coronavirus sooner if he thought they were “so bad or dangerous,” while claiming he was trying to keep Americans “calm.”

“Bob Woodward had my quotes for many months,” Trump tweeted Thursday. “If he thought they were so bad or dangerous, why didn’t he immediately report them in an effort to save lives?

“Didn’t he have an obligation to do so?” the president continued. “No, because he knew they were good and proper answers.”

He added: “Calm, no panic!”

Doesn't change the fact that he did what he did and held 6 campaign rallies after learning the virus was airborne. This is just one big deflection

Woodward had a plan. Anyone that gives this incompetent journalist and interview is a fool. Anyone would know he is up to something. He held the interview until the election for a reason. Wonder how much he was paid by the Democrats or Soros for doing it????

3:59 you must have been one of the 10’s of thousands protesting without distancing or masks? Who gives a Biden about it when BLM must be immune.

The virus rules and danger changes by the day. I'm sure Trump has no clue who to trust. Look at the corruption our government has been involved in! Trump did exactly as he should have. What would you have done different?! If covid is and was so dangerous, everyone in those rallies would have gotten it and 10 percent died of it. If Trump believed it was so bad he would not have risked his own life and would have worn a mask. Come on. Stop believing everything you are fed. Makes sure you actually listen to the tapes entirely before you just repeat what someone told you. You are correct. Releasing these tapes right before the election instead of releasing them months ago is one big deflection. If Woodward thought lives were at risk shouldn't that have been known back then, instead of using it now and twisting Trump's words? Wake up. Do some research, but do it quickly utube takes off truth videos daily. Trump 20/20.
