The Mexican Center for Environmental Law and the Center for Biological Diversity said Friday the deaths showed the need for a ban on net and line fishing in the Gulf of Ulloa area off the Pacific coast.
Authorities had previously said the sea lions did not show signs of injuries from getting caught up in fishing nets or lines.
But the activists said that nets are one of the main causes of sea turtle deaths.

Who approved the net fishing off the Pacific Coast that close to the gulf and Baja California . What presidency was that approved through? For that many some extinct deaths there should be charges. Isn't this something Bernie Sanders could sink his teeth into along with other environmentalists?

These nets are killing those Sea Lions. If they were then the sea lions would still be in the nets. Notice the article said the lions didn't have any injuries for the netting? They weren't even caught in the nets. If the nets killed the lions then there would be evidence on the lions of injury from the nets because the sea lions would have been fighting for their lives.

These Climate Change clowns are always the creepiest of the creeps and most of them are pole smokers or carpet munchers.
Fishermen remove them from the nets and throw them overboard. After a few days in the sea you would have a hard time distinguishing net injuries from scavenger injuries. Douche Bag.
