About 2000 Salisbury customers have no power since about 8:30 this morning.
Didn't hear no emergency shelters open for people in Salisbury or Wicomico County. People who live in trailers or vulnerable houses should have a safe place to wait out the storm this morning. I hear Somerset had a shelter in Princess Ann high school.

Joe, did you know SPD recently allowed a female officer permission to wear a ball cap due to hair loss, but male officers are prohibited from wearing the same cap even if they are balding... mind you, there is an agency-issued stetson that is to be worn by written policy but no one has worn in years because babs has no respect for regulations... just makes them up as she goes, enforces what she wants. Also, biologically male detectives are required to wear a necktie but biologically female detectives are not. The issue was raised and squashed by Chief Duncan. At what point does this become discrimination against men? Neckties have been proven to raise blood pressure and they are especially dangerous for police officers as they present a choking hazard during a physical encounter. So Barbara Duncan is saying the life and feelings of a biological female officer are worth more than those of a biological male. Imagine that in this time of free will identity and liberal love... Discrimination is ok so long as it fits your politics or personal preferences i guess. I pray for that agency. A hypocritical devil is afoot.
What haven't you all learned by now Barbara walks to the same drum Jake Day does they say and behave the way they want. All rules and policies are up to only their interpretation, we are the laughing stock of the whole state we have a mayor married twice but openly gay, his 2nd wife was to have had a trial which still hasn't taken place. They lived prior to her arrest in separate homes, and now he is supposed to be on a military assignment but is soaking up the sun and drinks at a watering hole at the beach. He has accomplished nothing and is on his second tour as mayor. She is known throughout Salisbury as "chief hug a thug" and only looks after the criminals not the public or her own officers----and both love selfies and attention.
If that was a female being told to wear high heals or a skirt there would be riots in the street and an uproar at city hall. Or if male employees were being given a benefit not assigned to women... foooggettabouttit... All over the evening news. This is allowed to happen every day in Salisbury, MD and there is no wonder why NO ONE wants to work at that police department. The hypocrisy of the left is amazing and at work to our detriment locally. Jake let this happen while he ran from his wife's troubles to pad his resume. This will bite him and his political hopes sink more each day with his stand-ins allowing this type of reverse discrimination.
High blood pressure from neckties? I don't buy it. For years, there have been lots of men who dressed up for work and wore ties. I don't think it gave them all high blood pressure.
Get a job somewhere else. The world is bigger than SBY.

I've read that men wearing ties is a serious health hazard. Why do the males have to wear them but nor the females? Is it ok to discriminate against men? That's where we are? All this equality talk but it doesn't apply to men? Watch what is going on around you...
