Hogan says it is a 'hurtful name' and it should 'absolutely' be considered a racial slur
Larry Hogan is the latest person to speak out about the Washington football team.
The Maryland governor, who is a Republican and previously supported the team, said on Wednesday that Redskins is a “hurtful name,” and he “absolutely” believes that it should be considered a racial slur. Hogan, who appeared on NBC’s “Today” show, is one of the many politicians in favor of a name change.
Back in 2014, Hogan told the Washington Times that he liked to “call them the Washington Redskins.” He said that he didn’t think the government should have a say in what a business should call itself.

I am so confused. The name was to make fun of the Indians? Or the name was in honor of them. I just don't understand the goal here. Eventually once everything is gone and errased, we can say there was no 'bad' and unfair treatment of anyone. This country is amazing. We have come a long way. I have never seen so much hate in th last couple of months. It's being created. Wake up people.

HOGAN should resign and give up his tax payer pension and benefits. That way he is a little less a hypocrite.
Neighbor is really into scouting , he's even a leader. He said that Boy Scouting is getting all revamped to require a Diversity Education merit Badge for the Eagle Scouts. The leadership is also looking at offering a "Pride" education badge.
The group is also going to rename "Scout Master" since this is a "Racist" name.
