A statue of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States, will be removed from the front steps of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio - who said in a Sunday evening statement that the museum made the request.
"As we strive to advance our institution’s, our City’s, and our country’s passionate quest for racial justice, we believe thatremoving the Statue will be a symbol of progress and of our commitment to build and sustain an inclusive and equitable Museum community and broader society," said museum President Ellen Futter of the bronze statue which has stood at the institution's Central Park West entrance since 1940.
The statue features Roosevelt on horseback with a Native American man and an African man who are standing next to the horse. In 2017, it was coated in red liquid by protesters, who called for its removal as a symbol of "patriarchy, white supremacy and settler-colonialism."

There's like 10 other statues of Roosevelt inside that museum. He founded the Museum of Natural History. Removing the super racist one outside shouldn't be that big of a deal. The statue's been subject of debate for decades.
I guess Night at the Museum 1 & 2 will no longer be available to watch.

It amazes me the mentality of this generation and just society. This is supposed to be the most intelligent era in American history. Because of the Teachers / Professors we have become the "dumb down" society by all the indoctrination and lack of teaching the correct history of the US.
These Statues / plagues are not being taken / removed / destroyed is not because of their relationship to the era of slavery. If so why has there not been any non-white statues / plagues destroyed / removed? Why has the MASON DIXON LINE markers / plagues not been removed? Why has there been no form of destruction of the HARRIET TUBMAN statue or plagues been vandalized / removed.
That is because these ANARCHIST / ANTFA / CAIR / BLM and other organizations funded by the Democrats / SOROS / BLOOMBERG and other billionaires have been good at distracting away from their agenda. That is destroying democracy.
These organizations are attempting to erase US history and the mistakes we should be learning from and improving the US population. When they succeed then they will have their SOCIALISM / COMMUNISM ruling.
By defunding Police and taking over major cities without resistance / rule of law means they are well on their way.
