Emancipation Hall was named in honor of the Emancipation Proclamation issued by the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln to take effect January 1, 1863. It freed the slaves in the Confederate states.
Pelousy and her crew are direct lineal descendants from the Democrats who caused the Civil War and founded the KKK to suppress the freed slaves afterwards. Being in Emancipation Hall should have been as uncomfortable to their abortion loving souls as Dracula if his casket was opened on a sunny day. Talk about cultural appropriation with their shawls! If you watch the video, she had to be helped to stand up. It's a great image of pandering.
By the way, the policeman that killed Floyd deserves severe punishment. That being said, George Floyd is no Martin Luther King. He does not deserve to be depicted as some sort of superhero (see the poster of him they keep showing). There was zero reason for the media to broadcast his funeral except to keep the pot stirred up.

An author I can't recall her name but she is an immigrant from Africa. She tweeted her disgust with this pandering and anyone who knows anything about the culture knows it's degrading to real Africans something even African Americans don't know because they think it's cute to wear this cloth but have no idea the meaning.
