They wanted to run water from Wor Wic Community College to the airport. I raised hell with my councilman because I don't want to be annexed into the city. I bought my home far away from the city so I wouldn't have to worry about that and now those idiots are pushing for annexation. I don't care if annexation is next year or 30 years from now I DON'T WANT TO BE ANNEXED INTO SALISBURY.
Shame on John Cannon, Bill McCain and Josh Hastings for fighting for this pre-annexation. John Cannon and Bill McCain you are my council rep and you need to listen to your constituent. Will you all please quit picking on the highly esteemed Mayor. Why I know of no one more capable of spending millions of taxpayer dollars on such great projects. Just look around downtown Salisbury and marvel at the park like atmosphere and ambiance being generated. Think of all the city workers that will need to be employed to maintain the plants and vegetation. Upon completion of his plan, most mid city dwellers will be able to obtain and use electric golf carts for commuting. It will all be so eco friendly and wonderful, thanks to our wonderful Mayor.
