Wicomico Co Council Request - SBY Airport Water Main Ext

I would be curious to know how the underground water at the airport became so contaminated for human consumption? Then, I’d be curious to know if surrounding properties have the same contaminated water source like that at the airport. If I were a property owner near the airport, I’d get my water tested ASAP for the same contaminated found in the airport’s drinking water. If the same contaminates are found then I’d be begging to be annexed into the City of Salisbury and linked into the City’s water system.

The report is manufactured BS. Anyone worth their salt knows full well that a standard 4"well can supply the entire needs for the airport terminal building and the Fed Ex, Maryland State Police hangar, and, Bayland aviation. I do not know why the County/State are spending several million dollars to extend water lines for several miles.

One good reason to not extend the water line from the Wor Wic water storage tank to the airport is for security reasons. A cental storage tank is increasing the risk for a potential terrorist attack for lethal contamination of the Wor Wic storage tank - whereas a smaller decentalized independent well system is less vulnerable to a terriorist attack. An example of this is when Homeland security provided municipal block grants for electric fences for minicipal water supplies. The GMB report did not site any of this evidence.

Independent well water hasn't seem to effect my chicken operations as my flocks have always been among the industry's top 10 growers - as I have been raising chickens for over 30 years. It certainly hasn't effected the mortality rate as my flocks are among the very best.
