Larry Hogan didn't entertain Donald Trump's criticisms after the Maryland governor obtained 500,000 testing kits from South Korea Monday with the help of his Korean-born wife.
'The president said that the governors are on their own and they should really focus to getting their own tests. And that is exactly what we did,' Hogan told MSNBC's Morning Joe Tuesday morning.
'Message changed yesterday, I'm not sure why,' Hogan, a Republican, said of the president.
During his press conference Monday evening, Trump accused Hogan of not understanding the White House's handling of the coronavirus situation.
'Some of the governors, as an example, the governor of Maryland, did not really understand the list,' Trump said while describing a call Vice President Mike Pence had with governors earlier Monday. 'He did not understand too much about what was going on, so now I think he'll be able to do that.'

And so Hogan got his own tests through his wife and then had to write to President Trump to ask him how to use them.
Hogan will never be president he need to focus on being a governor.

I don't understand. Hogan got 500,000 tests because no one could get a test. People on here even complained about it. People on here swore they tried to get tested but there were no tests available. Trump even said go out and get tests. So Hogan went and fixed the problem. What did Hogan do wrong. We have 500,000 tests now. Everyone should be happy.
I think Gov. Hogan has done a good job during this virus. What exactly would have you done differently? I do think that Trump was a little confusing in his comments about the responsibities of governors vs. state governments.
I am the author of 7:12 above. In the last sentence I meant that there was confusion about the responsibities of state governments versus those of the federal government in regards to procuring supplies and other resources.
Trump said that states are on their own. Hogan gets tests. Can you please explain what is wrong here ?
