The CDC Confesses to Lying About COVID-19 Death Numbers

Can any government statistics on COVID-19 deaths be trusted?

It is an open question now that we are learning that the highly respected, world-class Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been lying to us.

This revelation comes a few days after I wrote here at American Thinker that New York City was lying about COVID-19 deaths. The normal rules about reporting deaths have been violated by that city in the rush to inflate the body count, presumably to steer more taxpayer money to the Big Apple.

That the CDC isn’t telling the truth to Americans is no conspiracy theory: it’s right out there in the open for everyone to see. The CDC openly admits that it is fudging the COVID-19 death figures.

We know this because, among other truth-tellers, a plainspoken small-town physician from Kalispell, Montana, has pulled back the curtain.

Dr. Annie Bukacek, MD, explained in a presentation how death certificates are made. (See “Montana physician Dr. Annie Bukacek discusses how COVID-19 death certificates are being manipulated,” YouTube, April 6)

Why should anyone care how a certificate of death is made?

Everyone should care “today when governments are making massive changes that affect our constitutional rights and those changes are based on inaccurate statistics,” Bukacek says.

The system is deeply flawed, she argues.

No I can't believe the government would actually make up figures or try to scare the hell out of you in order to destroy the economy and bring down those petulant orange man voters. We are all going to die and yes it will get worse just wait we have a model to prove it!!!

I disagree completely with the article
Our government is the best on earth and would not falsify statistics.

This must be a dumbocrat trying to make our savior look bad.

Trump! Trump! Trump!

I refuse to believe the government lies to us about such an important topic.

I trust them and wish everyone else would stop disobeying the orders to stay home.

They are causing danger for the rest of us who are patriotic

Anyone reviewing the statistics and listening to all the commentary must quickly come to the conclusion that the situation being reported is at the minimum filled with inconsistency. For example, adjustments decreasing the projected death toll, keeps coming down. The projections now indicate that the number of deaths will be less than our worst year of flu. In addition, claims are being made that the contributing factor leading to this huge decrease is contributed to the “lock down, increased hygiene, and social distancing” have all led to the decrease. However, this simply cannot be totally true, if we objectively look at the total number of people that are still out and about. I know of people that have come into contact with people with the virus and did not get it. It is unfortunate that we cannot put total reliance in the data and statistics that we are being provided.

10:19, Here's what I see as a problem with your comment. First of all, sheltering in place did exactly what Trump wanted, slow down the SPREAD of the virus. It's working. Secondly, if you pay attention to what is spread with the mainstream media and even social media, if you have the symptoms DO NOT go to the Hospital. They go on to state you should simply quarantine for two weeks in your home/residence. That being said, how the heck could the government even know just how many people have contracted the virus if in fact people are listening. My suggestion has always been, continue to shelter and this thing will go away much faster and we can reopen America.

Another crap hit job that makes sense only to those ignorant of facts, too dimwitted to think critically about the half truths they just read, or outright liars with a political ax to grind. It gets exhausting pointing out the misinformation and logical fallacies you all fall victim to on the daily.

The real numbers are always times two of whatever they say.

The risk factor must always be considered in every decision making process we involve ourselves in. We consider it in our investments, business decisions, property purchases, construction projects and so on. It is quickly becoming apparent to many that returning our Country to a complete state of normalcy will be less riskier than continuing on our current path of financial devastation and psychological disparity.
