As Democrat power brokers survey the constantly shifting ground in the lead-up to the national election, it is not hard to guess the candidate strategy discussions going on in their super-secret supervillain lairs.
Plan A: Hide a Biden
The first strategy is to run nobody at all, which is another way of saying they stick with Joe Biden. The idea here is to use the current COVID-19 environment to keep Joe Biden safely tucked away and quiet while the media and surrogates do the heavy reinvention.
This is not an altogether bad strategy and probably the best one they have if Biden remains the candidate since it is becoming obvious to everyone not named Joe Biden that Biden's sharpest days are long behind him. Let's be honest: he was never that sharp even in his glory days, but he was certainly a lot more lucid when he helped spearhead the despicable character assassination of Robert Bork.
What commends this strategy is that national presidential elections tend to be referenda on the incumbent. With that in mind, there are worse ideas than sticking a muzzle on ole Joe and hiding him under a rock, or in a bunker full of rubber toys.

Gov. Cuomo has been on TV every day and my guess is he will be the Dem. candidate because Biden doesn’t have a chance against Trump. Biden doesn’t know what day it is or what state he is in.
Biden cannot be dumped. Doing so would completely destroy the integrity of the process and the structure of the primary election process it self.
Excellent article that clearly articulates the truth of the Democratic Party. Biden is far past his prime and will be replaced with Cuomo by August. Regardless, I look for Barr to finish his russiagate investigation and begin going after the parties responsible by June. Further, HRC will run out of hiding space by July. I personally am getting my popcorn ready for the show.

Surely there are physical requirements for the highest office in the land.
I believe Biden will drop out for health concerns and Gov Cuomo will be drafted to replace him. That is why the Governor's news conferences have been covered every day. He gets daily exposure. Everyone sees how he speaks and takes control in an emergency. Yes I believe it will be Trump vs Cuomo and that could be a problem for our President.
Andrew Cuomo will never run for President. His closet had to be enlarged to accommodate all the skeletons.
