I can promise you.’ Hogan said his internal polling shows that only 2 percent of Marylanders support a tax increase.” (Ovetta Wiggins and Erin Cox, “Hogan attacks Democrats on crime bill, expanding sales tax to fund schools overhaul,” Washington Post, 2/20/20)

Gaines, “Lawmakers Begin Weighing Novel Expansion of State Sales Tax,” Maryland Matters, 2/21/20)

You could have pushed hard with getting the gerrymandering FIXED, at least we'd had have a chance. Maybe you were just too busy handing out all that money.

Taxing an “ extravagance” like daycare. You’ve got to be kidding. Families are falling farther and farther behind. Day care is already more than a mortgage payment. Even families where both parents work are strapped. This increase is insanity, as is Kirwan. Less taxes so families can prosper creates family stability, which is a much better solution than continuing to throw money at a failed and corrupt public school system.

Hogan: No tax increases in any year in office.
O’Malley: Tax increases every year of 8 years in office.
Hogan: Reduced or eliminated all 40+ tax / fee increases from O’Malley’s tenure:
Hogan may not be your perfect governor but he’s lightyears better than O’Malley.
