Trial for prison guards who were on duty the night Jeffrey Epstein killed himself is postponed for two months

A judge on Thursday postponed for two months the trial for two jail guards charged with failing to make required checks on Jeffrey Epstein in the hours before his death.

U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres moved the date from April to June 22 after defense lawyers said they needed more time to prepare for trial. The lawyers had sought a six-month delay.

Guards Tova Noel, 31, and Michael Thomas, 41, have pleaded not guilty to lying on prison records to make it seem they had checked on the disgraced financier before his August 10 death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

I hope they live long enough to see this trial.
They need to have guards for the guards!
Hope nothing bad happens to either one of them!

The Clinton's requested a continuance

Analisa Torres, appointed by Obama, gives defense 2 more months to prepare for a trial that is scheduled for April in February. In reality, the defense asked for 6 months and got 4 not 2. Do the math.
