Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, warned that the spread of China’s deadly coronavirus in the United States is all but certain and said Americans’ everyday life could be dramatically affected.
“As more and more countries experience community spread, successful containment at our borders becomes harder and harder,” Messonnier told reporters on Tuesday afternoon.
“It’s not a question of if this will happen but when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illnesses,” the top public health official added. “Disruption to everyday life might be severe.”
Messonnier said the continued spread of the virus has led to a shift to a more dire tone.

This is about money and power.
The CDC might be the gold standard for some but after reading part of their reports on opioids and the so-called opioid crisis, in which they more or less admitted they didn't know what they were talking about, one really needs to do their own research as some agencies, such as the CDC, do not theirs.
Just wait... it will be worse than when 2 inches of snow are forcasted... grocery stores will be empty.. people slugging it out over a gallon of milk and toilet paper..
A very good point has been made by some recently-- the death toll for the FLU in the US is much higher, percentage-wise, than that of the Wuhan virus numbers we've been seeing.
This might just turn out to be yet another flu-type thing we have to endure every few years.
On the other hand, if it turns out to be a bio-weapon, that should be dealt with.
More deception from the swamp..the heat will be turned up in coming months. Because lies hate and deception is the ONLY WAY THEN CAN BEAT TRUMP..remember the swamp is deep and wide in DC.
Appears that Obama is now starting his disinformation campaign.
Democrats do not care thato the market is collapsing - that's what they want. They don't care about America - they want Trump gone no matter what.
