Despite the expansion of “gun sanctuaries” to a record 130 Virginia towns and counties Wednesday, covering most of the state, foes of gun control legislation speeding through Richmond are raising new fears they will be forced to register weapons, a move that could lead to “confiscation.”
Second Amendment lobbyists and advocates reviewing the initial gun control moves by a state Senate committee credit the exploding sanctuary movement for forcing Democrats to accept some compromises, including a less strict universal background check and delay in introducing a ban on “assault weapons.”
But they are concerned that even watered down gun control legislation will eventually lead to broader restrictions and bans.

Our government has become so thoroughly corrupt that I dont see how they can possible stop or fix this. Youd think that there was atleast one judge that would issue an injunction to stave off this disaster. It's been circulating that Pence and Trump are keeping an eye on it but cant intervene. Cant intervene when an entire states population are having their civil liberties violated? Im as pro Trump as anyone, but all that talk about what would happen to iran should they cause harm to even one american's life...but cant lift a finger to stop a domestic enemy from destroying FEDERAL RIGHTS?!?! Is it because he's more concerned with HIS election campaign? Possible losing a few votes is more important than the thousands of lives at risk? More valuable than 93% of a states CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS? I just dont get it...
He can make an EO to release convicts but cant issue an EO to stop the slaughter of thousands of free law abiding citizens and the violations of the Constitution.
1101am...clearly no body has glorified war here, as for justifying...your clearly not paying close attention. While everyones level of justified might be different, in appears your ok with destroying God given Constitutionally Protected Rights. Government for decades has been unwilling to bring accountability to any of the corrupt elite...we all see it every day in the headlines. The average person has been forced to believe the last resort is the only available option left. The Constitution calls for it.

History shows us that our conservative Presidents have been subject to violence. Progressives have been enacting violence on our Presidents since Lincoln's down fall.
