Word on the street is that it wasn’t a child at all. It was a grown man who only stood 5 feet tall and weighed 100 lbs. His street name is Munchkin.
The news reports say it was a 11 years old child that in is now in Juvenile Services custody. He was pursued from the time he got in the car.
I bet the insurance company won't cover any damages. He took vehicle without authorization so the insurance co will wipe their hands of it. I had a relative who was paralyzed when he was hit by a guy. The guy had used his girlfriends car without permission. My relative is quadriplegic and the insurance company did not have to pay 1 cent. It went to trial and the guy went to jail for 6 months.
Some insurance companies require you to sign a waiver if you don't cover your child (16 or up) on the policy to drive.
I'm not sure what happens when they are under legal age to drive, though

It was an 11yo Dindu. Some people are trying to claim he was “autistic” but he is just a not so smooth criminal. And a bad driver. A very bad driver.
