ANYWAY, enjoying the cruisers parade down the boardwalk with cup of "joe" in hand. So many friendly visitors (old people like me) with weekend smiles on their faces. Funny though, most who I've talked to are saying the same thing. Why so many LEOs pulling everyone over?? I laughed and said - City Hall is down a few blocks, ask them! I laughed, then explained how our City overdoes it when a few youngins (burnouts) ruin it for everyone else.
Enjoying the weekend with Surf/Sand/Sun and lots of cars and spirits! Soon it will be fishing time (if I can get my damn dingy started @^%89^%@(!)

9:01 - I live in OC and agree with your comments regarding all of the classic cars. The reason for the heavy LEO presence is for (1) the occasional knucklehead in the cruiser group that wants to do more than show off, and (2) the H2Oi crowd (who usually show up in October) that had such a heavy presence placed upon them that they are no 'crashing' other car cruises - I was coming up costal highway about 7 yesterday evening and all of the LEO I saw had young kids pulled over in stanced cars as well as a few young hotshots in hopped up old mustangs - I did not see any of the 'true' cruisers (the ones that KNOW they are cool just slowly drive on by so everyone gets a good look at their pride and joy - I never see them speeding, burning rubber, etc.)
Hope that adds some perspective
As for me I am going to sit on the balcony tonight and watch them cruise on by with a cold one and enjoy the nice weather
