Students from one of the most selective New York City public high schools, which is half white, staged a walkout to advocate for more diversity in the city’s schools.
About 300 students at the prestigious Beacon High School walked out of class on Monday to demonstrate against the school’s stringent admissions standards, according to the New York Times. They believe that rigid screening procedures have contributed to segregation in the school system.
“The abundance of privilege in our school is so universal that it usually goes unquestioned and unnoticed,” said Toby Paperno, a white student at the school.
During the protest, students chanted slogans such as “end Jim Crow” and “education is a right, not just for the rich and white.”

The more I read about the large cities on both coasts and their occupants, the more I think a nuclear exchange with China or Russia would be good for America.
(Our big coastal cities are actual targets on nuclear maps)
Northwest Woodsman: Stringent admission standards are the reason this is an elite school. Lowering standards is never the answer to this sort of issue. Diversity, affirmative action blindly supported by misguided egalitarians will destroy this school. The goal of Marxist democrats is to reduce our country to third world status in the quest for fairness and equality. In the real world, it just doesn’t work. I can’t understand the ultimate goal of their plan. Do they think ruling over an uneducated, poverty stricken and resentful population will bring them satisfaction?

This school cant be that elite to do something as stupid as this. An elite school with higher learning would have to be 98% White.
"End Jim Crow" ? These morons have no clue what 'Jim Crow' laws, regulations and rules were like or about. Not one of them could write nor explain them. They have no clue what it was to have to eat out back, use separate doors or allowed to shop in a small separate area of a store with limited goods you could by. Any discrimination which goes on today is a world apart from 'Jim Crow'.
Speaking of diversity, does the school have a curriculum for special needs children, i.e., those with IQs below 90, ADD, hyperactivity, profound physical disabilities? Probably not. There are "places" for them, not at this prestigious address.

Kids are nuts. They should be complaining that there aren't enough white students. Blacks are only about 13% of USA population.

Those students not in school and part of the protest will be outplaced. They get to pick their diversity replacement, and must exchange schools with them.
The replacement must earn grades equivalent or better than the displaced protester or they go back to old school. The displaced protester must remain in their new school until the end of the school year, and must maintain their grades; if they don't their personally chosen replacement goes back to their old school and the protester stays there, too.
The SJW crowd never anticipates any personal discomfort or shortfall from their wish list. If they had skin in the game they'd sing a different tune.

Luciferians influence is everywhere what are they teaching these kids. The seeds we are sowing now will result in rotten evil fruit. However, in our modern culture, the focus on diversity can become its own god. Diversity itself is revered rather than the One who created that diversity. An emphasis on diversity tends to highlight our differences. God is more concerned with unity (Ephesians 4:3). Galatians 3:28 says, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” God is saying that our differences are not what should define the children of God. Those who belong to the Lord Jesus should first define themselves as God’s children. We must be willing to set diversity aside in favor of unity in spirit. Jesus’ passionate prayer in John 17shows that His desire for His disciples was that “they may be one as you and I are one” (verse 22).
These are the same kids that sit on Joe Bidens lap.
Well, I would have to guess that the NY City population is less than 50% white, from what I see and know. So how does a particular school end up 50% white?
