Just to be clear Joe, Those of us who have learned the truth about the wars are aware that the soldiers were duped into service of the rich corporations who steer the military for profit.
I am a Viet Nam era veteran who served in the Navy with tours in the Med. I was lucky in that I did not have to actually go to Nam; thank God. Many did and I am eternally grateful for those brave men and women. I watched a segment on TV last evening recognizing the caisson corp who recognize the dead being buried at Arlington, very emotional as these soldiers are truly dedicated to their service and those who have passed.

My father served in Nam in the Navy. He was on an aircraft carrier and saw a lot of action but not like the ones with boots on the ground.
