Is it just the on-ramp that is closed due to paving?

The need to street sweep up all of the stones, I know multiple people (wife included) that have had their windshields chipped or cracked!

We need bullet proof windshields around here.

Whomever is on charge of this project should be fired. We just lived through 2 years of the bypass being worked on with the bridges being fixed and repavement being completed. It was nothing compared to this time. They should have closed it completely. The pot holes are the worst ever and the rocks are death to your car paint job and windshield. Normally they do one lane at a time. Not rip up the entire road on both sides. It seems to be taking a long time to pave it. Stay away if you can. It's so dangerous.

I avoid the bypass at all cost. Always. It's trouble the way it's built.
I always take the back way from east Salisbury to north Salisbury. And it's much easier with the road going from the college all the way to the Mall.
And stay out of the city, as it stays congested.
But I also now just pay a little more and shop at Food Lion for groceries. It's just not worth going north or south, for that matter, in all the traffic.

You'd have better luck if you didn't tailgate everybody. Of course the stones are hitting your windshield.

Good thing you're not a highway engineer. You would absolutely be fired for criticizing that which you know nothing about.
