‘Guilt by Accusation’: Alan Dershowitz to pen book denouncing the #MeToo movement

Alan Dershowitz, famous for his work as a criminal defense attorney, author, and legal commentator has taken on the #MeToo movement in his most recent book, slated for release later this year.

Dershowitz, 81, made headlines most recently when he was accused of having involvement in disgraced philanthropist Jeffrey Epstein's supposed sex trafficking and assault scheme. Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who says she became Epstein's sex slave as a teenager, claimed that she was forced to have sex with Dershowitz years ago. Though Dershowitz did represent Epstein as a client, he has flatly denied involvement in his supposed crimes.

"I have had sex with one woman since the day I met Jeffrey Epstein," Dershowitz said of his wife, Carolyn Cohen, in his own defense earlier this year. He also characterized their relationship as having a "perfect sex life."
