Mayor releases 'Squeegee Alternative Plan' to get 'squeegee kids' off the streets

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Baltimore Mayor Jack Young has released a "squeegee alternative plan" that would deploy police officers, provide "financial relief" to "squeegee kids" and direct them toward educational opportunities.

The city's "squeegee kids" have been an ongoing source of controversy, with many complaining about them or even claiming they can be violent.

It would cost about $206,100 to implement the "immediate" solutions in Mayor Young's plan, and nearly $1 million to create "sustainable solutions."

I use a can of Wasp & Hornet spray on them. It shoots a stream for over 20 feet and burns like hell in the eyes of these little bastards. I have it right by me on the seat, and been using it for the last two years on these creeps.

Hogan no more money to Baltimore, which is my tax dollars. Another example of wasted money by Baltimore and does nothing about the "trash / rat" problem. It does nothing to reduce the crime. Does nothing to reduce gang violence. Does nothing to reduce drug sales.

Is Elijah Cummings paying for this out of his $22 million worth, since he got his wealth from tax payers and crooked deals while in the HOUSE?

Maybe arrest them for starters...

and the Mayor is personally donating how much toward this grand scheme?

It's no doubt that these kids need help, but they ave to be removed from the environment that's poisoning them, including the learned helplessness that's multi-generationally keeping them as a drain on society and an endless waste of whatever potential the may have.

I was leaving an O's game with my young son in the car and one came up to the car at a light. I didn't put the window down so he started yelling. I just shook my head, so he yelled some more, and then beat on my window. It was fairly ridiculous.
