Protesters arrested after standoff at ICE headquarters in D.C.

Washington, D.C. (ABC7) — Dozens of protesters and Jewish activists temporarily blocked the exits of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Washington, D.C., as part of an effort to “shut down ICE.”

According to Metropolitan Police Department, 11 protesters were arrested by Federal Protective Services before it was all said and done.

The group, Never Again Action, began the protest on the National Mall before marching towards ICE headquarters.

The protesters braving the extreme heat linked arms and stood in front of doors and on streets.
