Princess Anne Escapee Apprehended In Wicomico County

 

(PRINCESS ANNE, MD) – The escapee from Princess Anne has been apprehended by Maryland State Police in Wicomico County.

Anthony Lowell Horsey, Jr., 29, of Westover was apprehended without incident at 12:30 p.m. today in Wicomico County by the Maryland State Apprehension Team. He was a passenger in a car traveling on Rum Ridge Road toward the Maryland/Delaware state line. He is being transported to the Somerset County Detention Center where he will be held without bond.

Shortly before 8:00 p.m. last night, Horsey had been served a warrant for armed robbery, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm use during a felony and other related charges. He was processed at the Princess Anne Barrack and taken before a court commissioner. Horsey was ordered to be held without bond.

At approximately 10:45 p.m. last night, Horsey was in handcuffs while being escorted to the rear door of the Somerset County Detention Center in Princess Anne, when he escaped from police custody. Horsey faces additional charges as a result of the incident.

The investigation continues..

Northwest Woodsman: He is described as a good boy who helps old folks cross the street while relieving them of the weight of objects in their purses and pockets. Very considerate. I’m sure his arrest was bogus and his escape resulted from his intense desire to get back to his medical school application process.
