'I think it’s nuts': Oregon HS students could be punished for senior prank

GLADSTONE, Oregon — Gladstone Principal Kevin Taylor said Sunday that the students who participated in a senior prank last week will walk in their graduation ceremony on Wednesday.

More than three dozen students entered the high school early Friday morning and moved hundreds of desks out of classrooms and into the hallway as a senior prank. They also replaced erasers with hot dogs.

Taylor said the kids illegally entered the school and manipulated a trusting custodian in order to accomplish the prank. He said he was planning to charge each student more than $47 for the mess, and said he might not even let them walk at graduation.

Everyone on here complains about "wasted" resources at our schools. I'm sure it took several hours for the minimal custodial staff and teachers who arrived early to put all this back. How would you feel if someone came into your work, totally messed up your office/workspace, then told you to put it back? C'mon...I see the humor in it, but actions have consequences. If you get caught doing a prank, you pay the price, that's how it's always been. But these snowflake kids and parents don't want special little Jimmy punished for his actions...get outta here.
