A Viewer Writes.......LOCAL FAMILY DOLLAR STORE CLOSING

I just checked out the list of Family Dollar Stores closing and our store on Tilghman Road is slated to close per the Dollar Tree buying them and closing over 300 stores. That is the only one in Salisbury right now on the list.

The Family Dollars outside of Ocean Pines and in Gold Coast Mall have closed, too.

Joe you really need to do a story on how YOUTUBE Is helping DEMOCRATS to censor CONSERVATIVES.

That location has already closed and is now a Dollar General

Good sign for salisbury. These stores have been displacing ones that actually sell some semi healthy food like god forbid, some fruit and vegetables. Packaged cheap junk food aimed at people not making much money.

Good riddance.

Probably too many thefts to keep afloat

The Family Dollar on Tilghman closed almost 2 years ago. There is a Dollar General in the location now.

The family dollar on Tilghman rd closed last year and became a dollar general. There is no other family dollar on Tilghman rd to close, so either the list hasn’t been updated or there is a mistake on which store is closing.

There is no Family Dollar on Tilghman Road. There was one in the old Ames shopping centre, but it's now a Dollar General. There is a Dollar tree in that strip mall now, down past Ollies. Maybe that's closing. Hard to believe as it's almost brand new.

Family Dollar has been gone from there over a year, it is a dollar general.

Two crap companies merge to make a larger crap company.

Think Fiat Chrysler, Renault-Nissan

But that "crap company" is great stock to own as an investor, and all their expansion of new stores is without debt. Show me other companies besides "crap store" dollar stores that do that. They are highly profitable. If you knew ANYTHING about them, you would know that they have the highest profit margins in the retail world. Go ahead, laugh. They and their investors laugh all the way to the bank.

Now where are Welfare folks going to get their food and snacks?

Even their gifts for birthdays and Christmas came from here.

There are two Dollar Stores on Tilghman Rd., The Dollar General is next to Ollies and the Family Dollar is next to the Food Lion same shopping center.
