How My Graduation Photo Changed My Life

Wow, she is super impressed with herself. As in: "I wish I had a machine gun.." for the picture. Why? Are you in the military and going to war? Machine guns are not made to be cute props so you can get "likes" on social media. They are meant to fire many bullets in quick succession, and to kill. People that don't seem to understand the seriousness of that, scare me.
And BTW, yes, I believe in gun rights and the second amendment, but there needs to be limits and some background checks for all the crazies out there.

12:23 Did she shoot somebody or threaten to. I must have missed something.

I agree with your point 12:23 AM. I too am a firm believer in 2nd amendment but see little purpose in owning an AR. These are weapons of war...period. A semi is a sufficient deterrent and double OO buck substantial home invasion prevention.

Agree. 00 buck is the best.

This is a sad state for our Country.

No, but because she's a self- proclaimed activist and gun enthusiast, she took college graduation pictures with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle at the college where she had just graduated. (All legally.) One of those pictures with the gun strapped to her back went "viral" (i.e. Lots of people saw it) and she got a bunch of offers to speak and be on TV.
*Now she is very important (tongue in cheek😕)

Anon 07:53: An AR-15 is a "semi" so I suppose that it is sufficient.

So all on here stating they support the 2A but really don't understand what it stands for... FO! You sound just like the ones trying to confiscate. Will not comply!

Northwest Woodsman: For your edification 12:23 and 7:31, an AR-15 is essentially the same as my Winchester Model 77 .22 cal rifle that I have owned since I was 14 or 15 years old back in ‘57 or ‘58. The difference is that my Winchester has a wooden stock and doesn’t look scary. The tubular magazine also holds about 15 rounds. Automatic firearms, what you might call a “machine gun” are not legally sold in the U.S. and have not been for a long time. It is possible to purchase a fully auto firearm but there is a requirement for a several hundred dollar tax and you must get a certified law enforcement form signed by a local sheriff. Photos and fingerprints are required, and many more safeguards piled on by state and local government. Mostly it is just for collectors. Common schmucks like you and me are not going to go through the hassle. Background checks are a federal requirement. Private sales are also usually regulated but it depends on your state just how much regulation they pile on. I am sure that the bed welters in Maryland have stringent requirements as well as CA, NY, etc. Interestingly, states with the most strict regulations are the ones with the most firearms related crimes and it is rarely a law abiding citizen that is involved.

If you want to prove your a bad a** with a AR 15 go to war where another bad a** will be shooting back at you. Otherwise you’re just an idiot trying to make yourself relevant.

May 21, 2019 9:41 PM,

Looks to me like she is going to war with the liberal gun grabbers in the USA! That makes a lot more sense to me than enlisting to fight some camel jockey in some desert 1/2 way around the world to profit the the MIC and line the pockets of the politicians that support them.

Think about it!
