Fetal Heartbeat Laws Don’t Take Away a Woman’s 'Right' She Never Had in the First Place

Now that Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey has signed her state’s “controversial” heartbeat bill, the spirits of pro-life advocates who want to protect pre-born babies are buoyed, while others are lamenting “lost rights” and protesting with shouts of “My body, my choice!”

In fact, some media outlets report that “anti-abortion activists” are winning across the country, as similar measures are underway in Missouri, Utah and Louisiana.

This might create ire among the liberal left and Hollywood elite, but I believe the founders who gave us America would applaud these pro-life laws.

Where do women’s rights end, and where do human rights begin? It’s not about anyone’s constitutional protection of rights or privacy, but the issue is natural law. We are endowed by our Creator with the right to life. God gives us the right to be born and to live. Unless it is an issue of national defense or self-defense, we do not legitimately have the right to take the life of another person. When we are talking about the life of the mother, that’s one thing. When we are talking about the convenience of the mother and father, that’s something completely different.

In mandating that none of us have the right to murder another person, that doesn’t mean we have lost any rights. These pro-life bills do not take away the rights of women. They never had the right to murder another human being in the first place. It’s a national tragedy that nobody is talking about this fact—you can’t understand the impetus of the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the Constitution unless you pre-suppose there are moral absolutes and natural law.

It is amazing for the sake of making a lot of money off a the dead fetus', that women allowed themselves to accept that a "choice" is not the same as murder. I have no problem with an abortion in the case of rape and incest, but not because a couple is too lazy or arrogant to choose to use birth control.
The total number of babies murdered is up there with the worst genocides in the planets history, and this includes the genocide of the North American Native Americans.
I can only conclude that the "choice" that these women have made would make Hitler, Stalin and Mao proud.

its not their bodies to begin with our life is a gift from GOD, so kiling a baby in the womb is killing a gift from GOD.

How Should A Woman View Her Body and the Preborn Life Growing in Her Womb?

"Behold, children are a gift of the LORD; the fruit of the womb is a reward" (Psalm 127:3, NASV).

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NKJV).

I don't understand why women who have abortions can't be the recipients of nearly all profits made from their own fetuses. Would that further encourage abortion.

I once (30 years ago) read a sci-fi story about a practice of turning aborted baby skins into high end leather accessories for women. The leather was called "foet". Only the uber-rich could afford it initially, but as time passed, the market was glutted by "foet" of all different colors.

Some may argue that the "creator" of the baby would be the parents, not God.

At least placing a child for adoption saves their lives and gives parents who desperately want children the happiness they are looking for.

The abortion debate is REALLY easy.

Don't support abortion? Then don't have one.

Stop compelling other people to do things with their bodies they don't consent to.

Would you support being forced to do something with your body against your will and consent? Of course you wouldn't. Would you allow the government to legislate control over your body.. compelling you to use it even at the possible detriment to your health or even death?

Of course you wouldn't. So stop doing it to others.

There. I solved this whole issue for everyone. No more distraction.

Actually, there is something we agree on, even if I may point out the point is a distraction and not on topic.
