The incident occurred on March 29, 2019 at approximately 2:46 p.m., when Troopers responded to a residence in the 34000 block of Hudson Road, Laurel for a reported alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that the residence had been burglarized and the rear door had been damaged. The suspect fled the residence without obtaining any items.
Through investigative measures, Troopers identified the suspect as Josh Shelton. Shelton currently has active warrants out of Troop 5 for the following:
- Burglary Second Degree Dwelling
- Possession of Burglar Tools
- Attempted to Commit Theft Under
- Criminal Mischief

Wonder if Josh was on break from work or called in sick to perpetrate the break in?
This is twice in about a week he has robbed someone's house. He is gonna walk into the wrong house, then will be carried out in a zippered bag!
