Democrats in the Pennsylvania General Assembly are attacking a Christian GOP lawmaker who prayed to “Jesus” before the swearing-in of a fellow Muslim State Rep. as “blatantly Islamophobic.”
On Monday, a member of the Pennsylvania House offered a prayer before the swearing-in of the chamber’s first Muslim woman, Movita Johnson-Harrell.
Republican State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz praised Jesus about a dozen time during her prayer and thanked God that President Trump “stands besides Israel.” — this triggered the Muslim lawmaker and other Democrats in attendance.
Rep. Borowicz delivered the prayer shortly before Movita Johnson-Harrell, a Muslim woman elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly — was sworn in.

Still a free country whether the Muslims like it or not and praying to God is a lot more worthwhile than praying to Allah.

Did you listen to her wildly ridiculous uttering as the invocation at the opening of this public government forum? That's not a helpful invocation.. it is a flexing of a religious majority that feels threatened and scared and upset and can not square the circle as to how their God could allow a Muslim to be elected into their chamber (pro tip: it's because Gods are made up by humans and don't exist). It was an attack and a message meant for anyone not Christian that they are not equal, and they are not welcome.
What's hysterical is with the same breath Christians will pretend they are persecuted in America.
Look, I think both these women's deities are figments of their imaginations, but our Constitution protects each of their rights to delude themselves. It is foolish to mix religion and government, and this is a shining example of just that.
This is such an easy fix, lets just honor the wisdom of Separation of Church and State. Because like it or not.. there WILL be a time when there is a place where your religious beliefs is in the minority... and you will really wish then that you had been on the right side of this debate when that happens. Separation of Church and State, Separation of Government and Religion. Only a Secular government, can protect religious liberty. Period.
You want to have your religion and do your own thing, I'm o.k. with that and I will defend your right to do just that. It's when you try and shove it in everyone else face that it, and YOU, becomes the problem.

What is the "civil war" about? Who are the sides - and I mean specifics. Not just general name calling and over broad non specific labels. I mean... do you even know who the enemy is? Specifically, who is it?
I have a neat-o idea. Why not turn off the social media, turn off the news propaganda entertainment... and go meet your neighbors. Find out about who is in your community.
I bet, you'll find... all that the media tells you that you should be scared of seems... a lot less noisy. I bet you'll find that most other people have the same common interests and goals that you do... and that our differences are small and inconsequential.
Those in power WANT us divided. We are easier to control, and it is easier for them to keep us under payed and poor. Keeps them in power, keeps them wealthy. Time to unite.. .not time to divide.

Freedom or Islam? Our very Constitution protects religious liberty. That is freedom. So your concept is all wrong. By default it CAN'T be "freedom" vs "Muslims".. you may want to revisit your assumptions and conclusions.
If you can't defend the Constitution, and you don't support religious liberty you are no patriot, and you are no American, so do not refer to yourself as such.
The very stats you post only prove the point that separation of religion and government must be paramount.
If you look closer at the numbers, those with No Religion are dramatically on the rise in England, dramatically outpacing Islam. Yes, Christianity is on a dramatic drop in England, you are correct.
America will never be a Muslim Country for the same reason it will never be a Christian Country... and that is because it is a Secular Country. Our Constitution set up a Secular government, which is the only kind that can protect religious liberty. Once a religious extremest group (Evangelical OR Muslim) infiltrates the government and instills a theocracy, we will no longer be America.

Christian God = Love all people and charity
Muslim God = Kill all none Muslims, persecute women, kill Jews
Jewish God = Follow law of Abraham and love one another
Baptist God = Love everyone, just don't dance or play cards
Catholic God = Mary is above God and priest love the little children
