The Maryland Democrats education plan?

Education doesn't improve by throwing more money at it.

40% will go to the inner cities, where students have been uneducable for decades and run the classrooms to ruin learning for everyone. Unless there is a way to weed them out for special attention, the money is wasted. Put more $$ into mental health; it'll be better spent.

That is what you get from the DC / Baltimore corridor that is and has ruined Maryland forever. You can only blame the Democrats and the Rhino Republicans like Hogan.

Throwing more money at a failing system with absolutely no accountability of where the money is truly spent. And it always falls on the property tax payers in this state. When in the hell is enough, enough?

I feel I am already paying more than my fair share with nothing in return. I live in the county. There are no services, and yet the taxes just keep getting jacked up each year!

I see a revolt coming just like the yellow jacket revolt going on right now in France. I live on a fixed income. I'm not sure how I am going come up with my property tax bill this year!

There are no decent paying jobs around here. The average household income in this county is less than 35,000 per year! There is a point where we can no longer handle this increases in taxes!

This area has not recovered from the loss of manufacturing jobs. Most of us are no longer earning the kind of income to afford these tax increases!

It won't cause any increase in taxes. The Trump economy is booming, haven't you heard? With increases in gross receipts, manufacturing, tourism (thank you Gov Hogan for the reduced bridge tolls and longer summers!), and the decrease in federal income taxes, the average taxpayer will not pay a dime more to cover the cost of this plan.

I just had my income taxes completed. My federal refund was less than last year. No coincidence that the amount is equal to the larger paycheck from the 'tax cut'. So basically my 'tax cut' was an early tax refund divided between my paychecks.

its time to leave MD before no one will buy. MY house is on market

The definition of insanity. Soon I can retire and moveout of this state.

Good luck. Took me 18 months to sell my 5 year old home at a tremendous loss - which is not a tax write-off. Had to prove to MD that I didn't make a profit. If you sell a property and make a profit and move out of State Maryland wants 7 per cent of that profit.
