Of course Station 1 was on the dispatch, but Salisbury sent Truck 1, Engine Tanker 1-1, Engine 16 and Assistant Chief 1. Good move Records and Tull, sending all on duty paid monkeys to Worcester County in Snow Hill and left the city without a paid fire crew. Just curious why they didn't take all 3 paid ambulances? Again the paid Farmin crapping on the paramedics and the volunteers.
Of course, you come here running your mouth without knowing the facts as usual. Truck 1 and Engine 16 were clearing a call at Dove Pointe when the dispatch came out. Worcester requested an engine from Station 1, Tower 16 and Engine Tanker 1-1 from Station 16. Engine 16 took the engine request due to the Station 1 crew already being out on the truck. Truck 1's crew took the aerial ladder request because Tower 16 was out of service. Engine Tanker 1-1 was brought to the scene by a off duty firefighter who was at Station 16. Assistant Chief 1 never left Salisbury. The second engine at 16 and all 3 medic units were still staffed by career personnel during this whole event. Salisbury was never without fire protection at any point. Go back to bingo, maybe come back when you have something important to say.
I don't know why Snow Hill needed any more trucks. The fire was less than 100 yards from the Nassawango Creek. Unlimited water supply available to fight the fire with. I guess they didn't want to get their hose dirty.
