Police: Md. human traffickers released on bond despite immigration, public safety concerns

Three weeks after Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan declared war on human trafficking, two men accused of taking part in the illegal sex trade, were released from jail despite immigration, flight risk and public safety concerns.

The case highlights the frustrations shared by multiple law enforcement sources working to eradicate pimps and madams, but finding themselves at the mercy of the judicial system that can often have a more lenient worldview.
The Brothel Along Garland Avenue:

In August 2018, the Montgomery County Police Department’s gang unit conducted an undercover sting at an apartment building along Garland Avenue in Silver Spring, near Rolling Terrace Elementary School. The officers witnessed various men come and go from the building.

Police stopped a number of suspected “johns” as they left the area. All admitted to paying for sex with an unknown woman inside. One man confessed to shelling out $30 for a 20-minute appointment. Another man explained he knocked on the apartment door, was let in by a short, heavyset man, paid that individual $35 and was then allowed into the bedroom.

A shame Hogan has done nothing to stop the sanctuary State status. Yes it also falls in the lap of Mike Miller and Busch, but Hogan has not introduced any legislation to stop / prohibit Maryland from being a sanctuary State. 300,000 Illegals costing Marylanders 2 billion dollars while State Employees / Retirees are being treated like crap. Hogan is just proving he has Democrat ways and does not back law enforcement.

Evidently the judges in Maryland did not get the memo from the Governor Hogan's office! Typical liberal judge, we can trust them to appear. He will be in New York within 3 hours of being out of jail and the Dominican republic in 4 days!!

Northwest Woodsman: anyone besides me notice that a huge majority of criminal activity is committed by persons with Hispanic names or easily identifiable names that are popular with blacks? Let’s start a tally of all those that are easily identified by their names and create a statistical analysis of who commits the most crime in this country. Oh, never Ming! The federal government already does that, however, they don’t want you th know the results. Check out “The Color of Crime” sometime. It is available online. Interesting to note that in the report, the feds combine Hispanic crimes along with white crimes to make the black statistics not appear quite as bad as they really are. 85 to 90 percent of gun related crimes could be easily eliminated effectively by forbidding blacks from possessing firearms. Sorry but that is a fact and confirmed by personal experience as a criminal investigator for Clark County, NV (Las Vegas)
