Could El Chapo’s seized drug money be used to build the border wall?
That’s one of the questions many are asking on Tuesday following news of the former drug kingpin being found guilty on all counts.
Mexico’s most notorious drug kingpin, Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, will spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury found him guilty on all 10 counts following a three month trial.
According to Breitbart, the United States has seized $14 billion from the former drug lord, which gave Sen. Ted Cruz a brilliant idea.
The Texas Republican introduced the Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order (EL CHAPO) Act in April 2017, which calls for the use of the $14 billion seized from the cartel drug lord to be used to pay for the wall.
“Fourteen billion dollars will go a long way toward building a wall that will keep Americans safe and hinder the illegal flow of drugs, weapons, and individuals across our southern border,” Cruz said in a statement.

Go Ted Cruz if anyone can push this through you can at least you have supported out president more than anyone else in Politics.

Unless the Prez somehow lays claim to it, the Dems will spend it like drunken sailors, maybe even getting a few tattoos to commemorate the event.

Sounds like one hell is a idea. Use whats needed to build the wall. Give our Border Wall. Then split the rest up between the Border Patrol it self. And give the Agent's a Bonus of some sort.
It probably cost that much over the years to bring him to justice. Lock him up with Cosby he swears jail is and interesting experience. They can write a script for Telemundo.

For those that keep digging at Trump about Mexico paying for the wall. I believe they will because we can take the money that would be thrown their way upon arriving illegally and their so called entitlements will get it built. We'll have money left over.

They need to question him about bribes paid to members of Congress to hinder the building of the border wall. Bet a lot will be surprised to hear what he says.
