Trump needs to say we pay $4.8 BILLION a month on welfare but I can't get $5.7 Billiion to protect Americans ?????
It's not a Democrat shut down it's Trumps shutdown and unfortunately he and the rest of us will pay a price for that ego driven stupid move.We need the border wall but alienating American citizens is not winning him any favor with anybody. He should end the shutdown and appeal directly to the American people on an economic and safety basis.If necessary declare a national emergency,but for crying out loud BUILD THE DAMN WALL. Build it soon or 2020 will be the end for conservatives.
Wrong again! #1 GOP has already turned down bills to cover American needs for way less money. #2 there are much cheaper and effective border security measures. #3 House and Senate had already passed bills to get us over this issue that Trump was for.....before he was against it. Nice try at revisionist hostory though. I guess you also forgot that Trump already declared that this was his shutdown.
