A woman is facing manslaughter charges after she shot and killed her boyfriend as they posed for a picture in Texas.
Autumn King, 20, accidentally shot her boyfriend Eric Charles Allen, 26, two days before Christmas as they posed with a rifle for a Snapchat photo.
According to the affidavit, King and Allen, who lived in Pflugerville, had been dating for two years before the shooting.
They have a child together and lived with each other in the 12500 block of Rampart Drive, where the shooting happened around 12.30pm on December 23, police said.
'Autumn stated that she was holding a tan assault rifle and that Eric was holding Autumn’s cell phone because he was going to take a picture of her holding the assault rifle', according to the affidavit seen by The Statesman.
King told officers she had the rifle pointed towards Allen and that the assault rifle 'went off'.

Sorry for their loss and all, but if people can't be assed to treat their weapons responsibly, tragedies will happen.
From Northwest Woodsman: The Darwin Principle at work here or was it just one of those scary black “ assault” rifles that was entirely responsible? Obviously it was the rifle and just plain stupidity was not involved.
A round in the chamber, safety off and a finger on the trigger are all precursors to your weapon "going off".
Accidentally kills him after just arguing with him. Yeah, right. NOT!!!
After arguing with him, she picks up the gun and poses, by pointing it at him. He should have run, but instead he thought by making sure she knew he was taking her picture, she wouldn't pull the trigger. He was wrong, and she is stupid to think any jury is going to believe her.
And the second safety rule is NEVER POINT A WEAPON AT ANYTHING YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SHOOT OR KILL - LOADED OR NOT
My AR-15 has never just "gone off". Come to think of it, NONE of my guns has ever gone out and shot somebody....
