Shutdown and the Coast Guard

800,000 are without paychecks, but only 46,000 are in uniform, including reservists.

The remaining 750,000+ are Department of Transportation employees.

I'm wondering how patient lenders are over all of this?

The billionaires who funded Pelosi and the Dems don't care about workers out just illegals for cheap labor.

Oh. I guess that makes a difference when the MSM's stories try to have us believe that all of those 800,000 are Coast Guardsmen. Boo to the MSM. Thanks to those Coast Guard members (and all of those vital support civilians, many of them retired and ex-Coast Guard) who are still taking care of us.
And blessings on all who are going without a current paycheck.

Too bad this SHUTDOWN cost twice as much PRESIDENT TRUMP wants for the wall. Makes sense to you??? Everyone knows the democrats are playing. They will pay the price in 2020. That's if the Republicans get a set of BALLS and don't let what happened in Florida across the country.

What will all these 800,000 federal employees do with all that money handed to them in a lump sum afer the Government reopens. Sounds like the shut down was a forced savings or a rude awakening on how to manage the average paycheck (DC area) 130,000 a year. I know it is much less on the Eastern Shore. These people will get paid. They will get their 6 weeks vacation each year. Their only problem - didn't save for it. The Govt has had shut downs by ever President. This is nothing new. Get rid of your overpriced Apple phones; your
BMW's; Starbucks; expensive vacations and prepare and plan for the next government shutdown or much worse. I have no sympathy. I am also a retired Federal Government employee. I know how the system works.

All of those people willingly took a position with the Federal Government knowing that at anytime the president can shut down the government! Those people still willingly accepted a job knowing at anytime they could be forced to work and not receive pay! That was their choice! Maybe they should have taken a job with state or local government instead!
