The media have complained for months that the president is unfair to them. They have even referred to him as the “divider in chief.” But what about the media’s divisive behavior to those Americans who identify as Christians?
The media sunk to a new low when they attacked second lady Karen Pence this week for her decision to teach art at a Christian school in Virginia.
CNN’s chief national correspondent John King even questioned whether or not Pence should receive taxpayer-funded security protection or government housing because she is working for a Christian school.
While the left has won many policy and legal battles over cultural issues, the attacks on Pence demonstrate that for them, tolerance is not enough. Simply holding views—or following lifestyles—that conflict with ever-evolving progressive dogma is deemed unacceptable.
Under this formula, the media aims to outright expunge serious Christians from public life. This follows the treatment of Christian judicial nominees who have been increasingly subjected to unconstitutional religious tests as a barrier to office.

They are nothing but low class scum.
Our country is a "melting pot" with diverse cultures, nationalities, and religions. Among those religions is Christianity and a tenet of this great country is the right to express one's religious beliefs without fear of reprisal. Why are so many so critical of Christianity yet so tolerant of the beliefs of Islam? What are they afraid of?
Whoah... hold on a minute. In America, you get religious liberty and freedom.
What you DON'T get is a special pass that exempts you from criticism.
Being criticized is not persecution. Forcibly being stopped from exercising your right to your religion would be persecution, and that is NOT what is happening here.
This old and outdated religion has old and outdated ideas and it is getting left behind, just like the thousands of other religions and deities no one cares about from the past.
I wish you Christians would get over your persecution complex. You are over 70% of the population. Almost all law makers and Presidents and Judges local and federal through almost all of Americas history have been Christian. You, claiming any sort of persecution is absolutely laughable.

I think the answer to that question rests on numbers. Christians make up over 70% of America. A lot of what Christians confuse as criticism or persecution is them just being made to play by the same rules as everyone else.
They don't have a special pass to get more rights, nor are they exempt from criticism.
Christians are trying to insert their religion into schools, and into government policy at a much larger clip than you see Muslims doing it here... and it just comes down to how many more Christians there are doing it.
Muslims want to do the same thing Christians are doing... they just don't have the numbers.
Last I checked, Muslims actually had a harder view of how to treat the LGBT community, I assure you that is looked down upon by the same people criticizing Christians who are doing it.
