Leftists want to make you choose between God and their vision for America. You're not allowed to be neutral
Candidly, I have not written in a while because I've been in a funk. I caught Rabbi Jonathan Cahn on TV sharing devastating stats confirming that we (conservatives) have lost the culture war – the battle for the hearts and minds of America.
New York City has legalized a "third gender" on birth certificates. Not that long ago, over 40 states passed resolutions supporting God's definition of marriage – between one man and one woman. According to the Public Religious Research Institute, a majority of Democrats, Republicans, blacks, whites, Latinos, Catholics, and white mainline Protestant denominations support so-called "marriage" between people of the same sex. The majority of evangelical Millennials support redefining marriage.
Years ago, LGBTQ activists claimed that openly homosexual leaders admitted into the Boy Scouts had no intention to change the organization from its founding on Christian principles. As it turned out, first on the LGBTQ agenda was to remove "morally straight" from the Scout Oath.
We are living in a pretty sick time when "morally straight" is deemed hateful and offensive.

the reality of human sinfulness explains why there are those who are deeply troubled and confused about something as fundamental as their gender and self-identity. The brokenness of the world also explains why there are entire ideologies, theories and systems of thought constructed by sinners in order to justify their sin. This is exactly what Paul indicts in Romans 1 when he describes suppressing the truth in unrighteousness and exchanging the truth of God for a lie.
Be faithful. God a always in charge. In the end He wins.

I can only be responsible for me and my house and I will. The rest will have there time. "Joshua 24:15" from beginning to the end not just the last part. As much as I wish the world wasn't this lost it is God said it will be this way.
When I did diplomatic work, we had a few (retired) Secret Service agents seconded to us who had been on Mondale and Carter's details (among others).
Hands down, none of them liked the assignment. Most would demur on details and just say they wouldn't badmouth him out of respect for the office, although one described his time with Carter as "weird".
The premise here is flawed. The premise is:

You have religious liberty in America. So being American means you can worship your God as you see fit.
Being neutral would be not forcing your view or religion on others, and letting them live how they see fit.
What is NOT neutral, is you forcing your religious views and opinions on others.
Neutral is not forming legislation against groups you don't like for no other reason than your religion doesn't like it. YOU have religious freedom to follow your religion. If your religion says don't be gay, then YOU get to practice your religion and not be gay. You don't get to force your views on others.
If other organizations are choosing not to participate in your party, it doesn't mean you are being persecuted. You trying to force them to do so is YOU not being neutral and forcing them to choose between what they want to do, and trying to make you feel better.
I just, I can't even sometimes. What is wrong with you people? You melt down on the slightest thing. You aren't happy unless everyone coddles you, and recognizes you, and makes you feel comfortable about your religious choices.
That's not freedom. And that's not liberty.
Get over yourselves.
All of you so called Christians are in for a really rude awakening if you ever make it to the pearly gates. Stop being so judgmental and worry about your own lives. God made people in the LGBTQ community who they are, and he does not make mistakes. You will answer for your judgmental attitude someday!
