They said the same thing about casino gambling. Nothing whet to the schools or infrastructure. Maryland lottery the same way.
Weed is legal in Maryland if you get a Medical Marijuana Card. The stoners I know are all getting them. All it is is a backup plan for when their regular dealer is out.

Nothing ever starts in Maryland. This state watches how other states do it for a few years, then enacts screwed up, watered down laws of its own.
Very good idea! I like that.
They will push pot is for the children to get it legalized.
Makes for good humor, but is an abysmal idea. Greedy tax hungry legislators are willing to fuel the drug usage at the expense of young, old and in-between when the druggies get behind the wheel.The fact we already have many drugged and/or drunk drivers is not a defensible rationale either.
