Learning from history is not something greatly embraced by Leftists. Indeed, they want to continue to rewrite history and leave behind the bits that don't agree with their views. Once entire generations of children are uniformly indoctrinated in schools and by media, using textbooks devoid of the histories of socialist failures, and media sanitized to the Party's orders, guess what the outcome will be.
How about they grow a pair and fight back. Thank God Americas founders had the courage to fight against oppression.
