The federal government should stop enforcing deportation laws against illegal migrants who have jobs, Ohio Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown said in a campaign debate with his GOP opponent, former Rep. Jim Renacci.
Even as Brown urging a national amnesty for illegal-immigrant workers and their children, he also said taxpayers should pay to repair the damages caused by the mass illegal-immigration which he supports.
The demand from the flood of illegal immigrants — up to 22 million nationwide — raises rents and real-estate prices, but Brown said housing is too expensive and the government should provide more cheap housing.

Oh, I get it. If an illegal here who pays NO taxes takes a job from a tax paying American, that American should move to Mexico in order to be fair. Bright minds!
The GOVERNMENT should provide??
Translation: working taxpaying American CITIZENS.
Amnesty...okay fine. BUT they ALL must wait in line! take it or leave it, no compromise. Stand in line and wait your turn or leave.
Believe I'm being flexible....as an American taxpayer - yes I am.
So ALL criminals can now commit a crime and then get a job and no one will make them pay the consequences? You do it for one, you have to do it for all.
@Octoner 18, 2018 at 8:49 PM. NO, NO damn amnesty. Are you nuts? They committed a crime by sneaking into our country. Everyone else obeys the law, they will too. There are consequences for what they have done and that's deportation. Plain and simple.
