10 Cars From DE, 2 From VA And 1 From Jersey, The Rest Are All Local Maryland

During the peak time this afternoon/evening is became very clear that people did not in fact come from out of the area/state to visit the over inflated BS the rest of the media is spreading. In other words, lies.

I want to personally add something else. THINK people! IF this event was in fact a rain event, WHY IN THE HELL wasn't it promoted for MONTHS as a rain or shine event. It wasn't. That only came up when the bad weather was imminent to cover their A$$.

I wonder how many programs were printed. 60K? 80K? 100K? Can't imagine what that cost us

I didn't see traces of this being advertised out of the area, so how were 80,000 people going to show up? Three is not even Facebook events listed for the concerts. There's a page for the national folk festival, but not one event other than one or two vendors put up an event. If you type natioanl folk festival in Facebook there should be like 30 events showing. Goes to show amateur hour no social media director for an event "this big" . And only live streaming etc is on jakey's personal Facebook. What a joke.

Its pretty empty which is a shame as the music groups are realy good... gotta say though I paid 8 bucks for a funnel cake (I was stupid and didn’t notice that there was no price listed on tent) and my son had already put his hands on it when I was told the price. Wayyy overpriced food so went to Acorns which was sadly empty .. was so glad there were no issues with feeing safe (It was day though)

I just got back, as curiosity got to me. I just did a drive by downtown. Yes it had a crowd. But no where near what the Salisbury festival had at it's peak. I could've parked easily in many places, and walked over. I had no problem at all with traffic. And I believe the traffic there was was because so many streets are closed.
Looked like way to much to do, and nowhere near enough people to do it.

Just to wrap the parking garage was 90,000 dollars so take a guess what everything cost.

Well when you paint a rainbow in the city streets to promote unnatural relationships, God has a funny way of showing up with the real rainbro.

I just googled hotels in Salisbury for tonight and 43 hotels in the area popped up for availability including West Ocean City. I thought that 100,000 plus crowd was going to book every hotel in the area?

FAILED

More like a senior citizen festival.

A Total Failure...thank you Boy Mayor.

There was a sign a few miles south on 13 NORTH for it, saw it yesterday. Why they'd advertise it in the direction headed away from salisbury is beyond me.

When they first announced they were claiming 10's of 1000's were going to come from out of town and were giving the impression hotels would be full all the way to Ocean City.
Then a few months ago I commented something about this wasn't going to happen and someone who was obviously heavily involved in this cluster commented and walked back the claim masses amounts of people were going to come from out of town.
It suddenly then became an event that was only going to attract locals.

There was a Billboard in Lewes DE

Good thing. No one would come if the parking garage wasn't wrapped. Said no one ever. You have to bring jobs back to Salisbury first. Then you increase your tax base first. Then you can slowly spend on things like a parking garage wrap. I just don't understand where all this money is coming from all of a sudden.
