Mexican Citizen and Convicted Felon Arrested for 10th Time by U.S. Border Patrol in Lapeer

DETROIT— Border Patrol agents assigned to the Marysville Station have arrested a formally deported convicted felon who was wanted for an outstanding warrant by the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, the United States Border Patrol was contacted by the Lapeer Police Department to assist in identifying a subject as part of an investigation. During questioning by U.S. Border Patrol agents the subject freely admitted he had illegally crossed into the United States in 2014.

The subject later identified as Sergio Nunez-Barrera and citizen of Mexico was transported back to the Marysville Border Patrol Station for further processing.

During processing, it was determined that Nunez-Barrera has been arrested by the United States Border Patrol nine previous times dating back to 2000. It was also confirmed that Nunez was convicted of 8 USC 1325 (Improper entry by alien) in September of 2012 and sentenced to 30 days incarceration.

“This is outstanding example of our law enforcement community working together and taking a criminal off the streets,” said Chief Patrol Agent Douglas Harrison.

Open her up, let all the trash in. That's what the dumb ass American's want. Bunch of throwbacks from Woodstock. I was one of them, so I've just given up. Let them do drugs and be free, don't offend anyone. It all feels good brother.
