Florida Launches Gun Confiscation Program, 467 Forced To Surrender Guns

More than 467 people in Florida have been ordered by the government to surrender their firearms since March under a new law passed after the deadly Parkland shooting in February, according to a local ABC broadcaster.

The Risk Protection Order, is a “Red Flag” law that Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) signed several weeks after former student Nikolas Cruz killed 17 people at Stoneman Douglas High School in March, allows the local government to disarm the civilian population if a judge determines they are a threat to themselves or others.

Under the new law, state officials have the ability to file risk-protection petitions against irresponsible gun owners in court, which could result in local law enforcement stripping that individual of the second amendment.

The law doesn't need to be re written. It needs people who didn't drink the koolaid to realize this is what tyranny looks like and respond. This is the sole reason the second amendment exists. By targeting concealed carry permit holders regardless of the status reaffirms that you are better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Larry Hogan is working on that. Ask Carl Anderton Jr. why he voted for it.

Oct 1ST, it starts in Maryland.
Just about anyone who can claim to know you, or USED TO KNOW YOU (!!), can file a complaint that the police and judges will back up 100% of the time. That's right. 100% of the time. Serving the citizens, ya know.
And it will only get more Nazi-like as time goes by and Florida announces (brags) just how easy it was to take these guns.
See? You can do it, too!

Man. Not ONE agent was killed?? NO ONE opened fire on them??? There isn't a lot of resistance possible AFTER your guns are confiscated, believe THAT. Ask the English or the Australians.
That's called "encouragement".
When more than two police officers show up at your house, it ain't to welcome you to the neighborhood.
Keep your guns loaded, readily accessible, and ready to rock.
Yes, they ARE coming for them.
It, at least, shouldn't be EASY.
