A Viewer Writes: Graves at Mt Zion Untied Methodist Church Quantico

Joe, I was walking through the graveyard at this church and stumbled upon these graves. Several of the graves as shown in the pictures are coming up out of the ground. There is also a vault with a big hole in the top the casket is visible when you look in side.

No where for the rain to go! They had them floating around a few years ago down in crisfield

Time for an audit. Cemeteries by law are required to have a perpetual care fund to deal immediately with issues such as this. Also a board to oversee. Who are the board members. They need to be publicly humiliated and shamed.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Boxes (wood NOT metal) that are made to hold the dead are supposed to rot and become part of the earth that they are in, not be entombed in some "Made in China" shiny new metal box and encased in concrete, then last forever.

1243 I think the person walking through the cemetery did it or at least a suspect?

In a lot of Asian countries you lease your grave site for 5 years and if you don't pay the bill every 5 years they dig you up and place your bones in a bag and put them on the side of the cemetery for Pu then they place ANOTHER body in the grave site.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, lasts forever. Not the vaults, not the caskets, and not the bodies entombed inside. The ravishes of time will always win.
