WASHINGTON (ABC7) — The 10-year-old girl shot and killed last week in front of her home will be laid to rest Wednesday.
Makiyah Wilson was one of five people shot after a group of masked men targeted people outside her apartment complex in Northeast on July 16. Tensions are high as some residents are calling for the police to do more as no arrests have been made for her murder.
Police Chief Peter Newsham spoke with the Deanwood Citizens Association Monday night asking for residents and officers to work together to stop crime. At one point, there was a heated exchange between the chief and neighborhood commissioner who said there is distrust when it comes police interactions with members of their communities.

The continued stupidity and mentality of killing your own STILL reins in DC and Baltimore. Why get in the way of a society pretty much getting rid of themselves?
Now lets discuss of getting rid of the vagrancy that CONTINUES on the boardwalk/surroundings in South OC!
All of these deaths are just the scum sitting in the swamp.
Yup.
Nobody saw nothing.
Nobody knows nothing.
You can't march in the street calling for the murder of cops, but then cry out for their "protection".
And you cannot refuse to cooperate in a murder investigation and expect the police to solve anything.
The police wonder why anyone even bothered calling them.
Ten years old and ...."we didn't see nothin'".
Keep cheering.
Keep voting Democrat and this is what you get.

Dthat would be "nuffin."
Why didn't the Democrats deport them back to Africa after the war? We all would be much better off today.
