Mueller Prosecutors and Mike Flynn Agree to Third Delay in Sentencing

Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn will wait another two months to receive a sentence for his false statements to investigators after his defense lawyers agreed to another delay Friday with prosecutors from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office.

Flynn, who pleaded guilty in December to lying to FBI agents about the content of his conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak in the presidential transition, had already agreed to two delays in sentencing with Mueller’s prosecutors. The felony charge to which Flynn has pleaded guilty carries a potential five years in prison. Given that this is Flynn’s first offence and his agreement to cooperate with investigators working the “Russia probe,” he is expected to receive significantly less time than that and may avoid incarceration altogether.

Reports in the winter indicated that Flynn’s team may be considering a withdrawal of his guilty plea and ongoing negotiations to that effect may also have provided some of the rationale for this new delay.

The man only plead guilty to save his son-they were going to go after him too...that and the fact that he was heading to bankruptcy for trying to defend himself from the BS charges...disgraceful that this happens and Hillary gets off with nothing.

Mueller is trying to figure a way to weasel out of a tight situation. Mueller knows his case is falling apart. He knows when the FISA warrant is deem wrong and not justified his case is history. He also knows that all his so-called evidence was done illegally search and seizure. All this evidence then could not be used against the plaintiffs in a courtroom. This incorporates all cases Mueller has created while gathering information under this FISA warrant and FBI correspondence. Mueller also knows himself and the FBI can be sued personally for slander and have to reimburse all the plaintiffs in full.
