During a May 18 Fox News appearance Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said it is time for Americans to take a stand and say, “We’re not going to leave our kids defenseless.”
His comments came in the wake of the shooting that killed at least 8 at Santa Fe High School.
Paul said, “Why don’t we say it as a country – we’re not going to leave our kids defenseless. We’re going to defend them.”
He also spoke to Hollywood celebrities who react to a high profile firearm-based crime with calls for more gun control, saying, “Every Hollywood actor that hates guns has armed bodyguards defending them. So they hate guns unless the guns are defending them.”

Rand Paul is taking a leftist view of reality.
The PARENT is responsible for their children up to age 18. You can't legislate the behavior of things (like guns) but you can legislate rules on parents. They need to prevent their kids from getting access to guns even it's something as simple of locking them up. Why didn't they lock the guns up in Texas? How would outlawing guns stop permitting their kids from accessing their firearms?
Nothing more than a wet dream.
Rand Rand Randy baby - its not our children we need to worry about. When we're all DEAD (including YOU), its our grand children and THEIR children we really need to worry about! The crap you and Congress have left on their doorstep to pay (DEBT), you should be ashamed getting on TV with that hair of yours - let alone opening your trap!
Signed,
the slave labor foreman, in charge of your future grand and great grand children!
Funny how Hollywood hates guns, but they make a lot of violent movies and TV shows.
