Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) said there was not “a single piece of legislation” that would have prevented the recent school shooting in Texas.
Warner said, “I don’t think there’s a single piece of legislation, but there’s a series of actions. Are there things we can do that would improve the safety of our schools? Absolutely.”
He continued, “Should there be more mental health counseling for troubled teens, the number of the incidents caused by young men time and time again? Absolutely. Making sure people are safer with their own firearms? Absolutely.”

He is absolutely correct. But banning football might help, this guy had suffered 4 head injuries due to playing high school football.
I’m a big 2A supporter but we need to hold parents accountable that don’t lock up their guns.
8:55 big 2A supporter, sounds like you'd like some more "common sense" gun laws. Be careful what you wish for. My dad never owned a gun safe, or one of the silly little gun locks. I didn't own a safe until about 5 years ago and my kids are in their thirties. The kid could've done about the same damage with the family sedan. Guess we need to lock up car keys? Shall not be infringed brother!
